As the world pivots toward sustainable technology, many governments and businesses fail to secure the materials to power this clean future. With electric vehicle and eco-friendly technology demand growing, manufacturers have no choice but to build lasting relationships with firms that secure the resources they require.
Known as Vertical Integration, this process bolsters the importance of the mines containing the battery metals powering fleets of electric vehicles. Platinum Metals are among the most important minerals needed to power this green future.
Semiconductors are needed to power an increasingly digital future. However, manufacturers in Taiwan and South Korea aren’t the only firms set to benefit from a global shortage. The components needed to create semiconductors and other clean energy technologies are equally important – and just as scarce.
Our sites in Canada, Norway, and Sweden will help satisfy this growing demand.

The future is green…
Planet Earth, through the growth of clean technology is organically and by design evolving toward an environmental utopia.
This IS our future and it is being accomplished via a multitude of developmental uses of battery minerals and metals. Power generation is not a by-product as much as it is the sole product and purpose of….our sun! Capturing and containing that energy as the main source of supply powering an ever increasing demand remains the vision statement of Martin Laboratories EMG.
Where do we begin? We focus on energy collection and the preservation of that energy for use now and well into the future.
What are some of the most important natural resources needed to accomplish the collection and preservation of energy? We believe it is primarily nickel, copper, cobalt and lithium. The lithium-ion battery may as well be called the nickel-ion battery, considering the ever increasing composition of the metal over time as it mitigates the need for ethically problematic cobalt – which has traditionally been mined in geopolitically challenged environs.
We at Martin Laboratories EMG have methodically sought out the most technologically advanced and ethically minded sustainable energy jurisdictions in the world, with an emphasis on infrastructure and “mine to market” expediency. We’ve located that locale with the help of our partners EMX Royalty Corp, in Norway and Sweden.
During Tesla’s last earnings call in July 2020, CEO Elon Musk urged mining companies to increase their nickel production:
“Well, I’d just like to re-emphasize, any mining companies out there, please mine more nickel. Okay. Wherever you are in the world, please mine more nickel and don’t wait for nickel to go back to some high point that you experienced some five years ago, whatever. Go for efficiency, obviously environmentally friendly nickel mining at high volume. Tesla will give you a giant contract for a long period of time, if you mine nickel efficiently and in an environmentally sensitive way. So hopefully this message goes out to all mining companies. Please get nickel.”
We hear you, Elon. We’re on it!
